PeptideCrux ("the Site") is an independent, educational index of published scientific literature concerning peptides and biological ageing. By accessing the Site you accept the terms below in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

1. No medical advice

The content of the Site is provided for general information and educational purposes only. It is not medical, clinical, diagnostic, nutritional, pharmaceutical, veterinary, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified, licensed healthcare professional. No physician–patient or professional relationship is created by your use of the Site, by contacting us, or by subscribing to any newsletter. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you read here, and call your local emergency service if you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency.

2. Investigational and unapproved compounds

Most compounds referenced on the Site are investigational substances. They have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, the MHRA or any comparable regulator for the uses discussed in the cited literature, and several are legally restricted to laboratory research use in some jurisdictions. Some are prohibited in competitive sport under the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List. Nothing on the Site should be read as encouragement, instruction or authorisation to obtain, possess, compound, administer or self-administer any substance.

3. No sale, supply, sourcing or protocols

We do not sell, manufacture, distribute, prescribe, source, broker or recommend any compound, supplier, clinic, dose, route of administration, cycle or protocol, and we accept no compensation for referring you to any such party. Any dosing figures that appear on the Site are reported only as they were described in the cited study, for descriptive purposes.

4. Accuracy, completeness and third-party sources

Summaries represent our good-faith reading of the primary sources cited alongside them and may contain errors, simplifications, omissions or information that has since been superseded, retracted or contradicted. Evidence grades are editorial judgements, not regulatory or clinical classifications. The Site links to third-party resources such as PubMed and publisher sites; we do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or accuracy, and a link is not an endorsement of a study's conclusions. Always read the primary source before relying on any claim.

5. Assumption of risk

You acknowledge that any decision you make on the basis of information found on the Site is made at your sole risk, and that experimenting with peptides or other investigational substances can cause serious injury, illness, permanent harm or death.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site, its owners, operators, contributors, contractors and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, health or life, arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to access the Site (which is normally zero) or USD 50. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Site and its owners, operators, contributors and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your reliance on any content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, currency and non-infringement.

9. Jurisdiction and age

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 or over. It is not directed at any jurisdiction where its content would be unlawful, and you are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you.

10. Corrections

We welcome correction requests. If you believe a summary misstates a source, tell us and we will review the citation and amend or remove the entry where warranted.
