This notice explains what personal data PeptideCrux (the "Site") collects and how it is used. We collect as little as possible.
1. What we collect
Email address, only if you choose to subscribe to the research brief, so we can send it to you. Technical data, standard server and analytics information such as IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed, used in aggregate to keep the Site working and understand which entries are read. We do not collect health data, and you should not send us any.
2. Legal basis
Consent for the newsletter; legitimate interests for security, aggregate analytics and keeping the Site available. You may withdraw consent at any time.
3. Cookies
We use only cookies or local storage strictly necessary for the Site to function and, where applicable, privacy-respecting aggregate analytics. We do not sell data and do not run advertising or cross-site tracking profiles.
4. Sharing
Data may be processed by infrastructure providers acting on our instructions (hosting, email delivery, analytics). We share personal data with no one else, except where required by law.
5. Retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics, then deleted or aggregated.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and to complain to your data protection authority. Contact us to exercise any of these rights; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
7. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
8. International transfers and changes
Data may be processed in countries other than yours, under appropriate safeguards. We may update this notice; the "last updated" date above shows the current version.
