These Terms govern your access to and use of PeptideCrux (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them and to the Disclaimer, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, stop using the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Educational purpose only

The Site indexes and summarises published scientific literature. It provides no medical advice, no treatment recommendations and no endorsement of any compound, supplier or protocol. See the Disclaimer for the full statement, including the assumption-of-risk, limitation-of-liability and hold-harmless provisions that apply to all use of the Site.

3. Acceptable use

You may read, cite and share the Site for personal, educational and research purposes. You may not: scrape or bulk-download the Site in a manner that burdens our infrastructure; republish substantial portions as your own; misrepresent our summaries or grades; use the Site to promote, market or sell any substance; attempt to breach the Site's security; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

Original text, design, code, evidence grades and editorial structure on the Site are owned by us and protected by copyright. Study titles, abstracts, metadata and any third-party material remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced under fair use/fair dealing for the purposes of comment, criticism and research. If you own material you believe has been used improperly, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it promptly.

5. Third-party links

The Site links to external resources including PubMed and journal publishers. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or availability, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to updates, you consent to receive occasional email from us and may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message. See the Privacy notice.

7. Availability and changes

The Site is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued at any time without notice. We may amend these Terms; the "last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

8. Limitation of liability and indemnity

Sections 5 to 8 of the Disclaimer (assumption of risk, limitation of liability, indemnity and hold harmless, and "as is" content) apply to these Terms in full and survive any termination of your use of the Site.

9. Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
